Ecological Worldviews: Religious Naturalism
Religious Naturalism is a worldview that finds religious meaning and value within the natural world, beyond which there exist no transcendent or supernatural forces. Drawing its ethical teachings from the epic of evolution, Religious Naturalism highlights the interconnectedness of nature and affirms a shared responsibility for its flourishing. The world itself—in all its wonder, beauty, and complexity—evokes an experience of awe and reverence, thereby shaping a person’s values and ways of life.
