The Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature – Africa Hub (GARN Africa) advances the recognition of legal rights for nature across the continent. It connects African activists, lawyers, communities, and organizations working to protect ecosystems through Earth-centred laws and governance. GARN Africa supports campaigns, legal reforms, and public education to embed Rights of Nature into African legal systems and amplify Indigenous voices defending land, water, and life.
