The Sacred Biodiversity Oracle

Sacred Biodiversity, a card deck and guidebook containing 36 full-color reproductions of the icons of threatened and endangered species by artist Angela Manno, bridges spiritual practice and ecological awareness. Using icon-style imagery as a focus for visio divina, or “sacred seeing,” Sacred Biodiversity is a contemplative tool that engages both intuition and reason and stimulates empathy and a desire to act on behalf of life. A unique component of this system are the QR codes on each card leading to the websites of specially curated organizations from all over the world including the United States, Philippines, Netherlands, Ecuador, United Kingdom, and Australia that are working to protect, preserve, rescue, rehabilitate, advocate, and lobby for animals and their habitats, thereby providing the reader with a pathway for meaningful action. The deck is a great learning tool and can be used individually or in a group setting.
